Garfield and Bearbrick have collaborated, and the result is everything we’d want it to be. The ultimate fan symbol for followers of this longtime comic strip, the Garfield Bearbrick comes in two different styles.

The first release, known simply as Garfield, demonstrates how easily a teddy bear can become a cat. Garfield’s iconic orange and black features play well with the Bearbrick body, and his sly, sleepy smile makes an adorable face.

About Cobra Kai

Created by American cartoonist Jim Davis, Garfield began as a comic strip character in the 1970s and is still running today. Since its first production, this ongoing story has been extended to films, television series, video games, toys, and more. He’s even a mascot at Kennywood, the Pennsylvania amusement park. Garfield tells the story of a lovable, tabby Persian cat living in middle-class America.

Garfield lives with his owner, Jon, and their dog, Odie. In the comic strip, he delights readers by eating everything in sight – especially lasagna – and belittling the cute, but brainless Odie in hilarious ways. Garfield generally communicates only through thought bubbles, while his owner speaks out loud.

The everyday humor of Garfield’s existence is instantly relatable, which is why this comic has had such staying power over the decades.

Cobra Kai Bearbrick (2022)

The Chrome Garfield Bearbrick comes in 1000% and a set of 400% and 100% sizes. Just like the original design, this bear is orange with black shading. Garfield’s grin and eyes are the same as the first Garfield Bearbrick release.

The major difference in this design is the Chrome gold of Garfield. Instead of cartoony orange, this Bearbrick shines as if plated in gold. The original cartoon colors are still visible through the Chrome effect, giving this Bearbrick a special visual appeal.
